Larry Scott went off for 24 points -- including four 3-pointers -- Sunday in a Jupiter Jaguars victory over Suns Team Harris at the AAU Is Live! Tournament in Fort Lauderdale.

The 6-foot-3 2020 guard is about to embark on what could be a very important next couple of weeks in terms of his college recruitment.

Coaches from Army, Florida A&M and North Florida are all slated to be coming to see him play in Atlanta, according to the Jaguars' coaching staff.

Scott showed deep range at AAU Is Live! He ia also an excellent slasher driving to the basket, with good body control.

"I'm someone who will play hard on both ends of the floor," said Scott, who attends Jupiter High. "I know how to play. I'm more than just a scorer. I can do it all on the floor.

"I'll do whatever it takes to win and I will work as hard on the court as off the court in the classroom."

Scott and Co. made the 17s championship game where they would eventually fall to South Florida Elite, 63-52. Scott finished with 13 points in the title game with nine of the points coming on three 3-pointers.

"Even though we lost [in the championship game], we played really hard, Scott added. "I feel like our team we played hard together, we made big plays down the stretch to pull out some big wins. We really got a lot of exposure for a lot of our guys."

Jupiter High finished 20-9 in the 2018-19 season.
