Cameron Ward 2020 D1 Prospects point guard

Ball-handler

Strong point guard

Shooter

When Cameron Ward took possession at the top of the key, I wasn't always sure what to expect. The 6-foot-3-inch had a wider, more linebacker-esque frame than most point guards. What I found out once he got the ball in his hands, however, is that he doesn't forfeit any guard skills with his size. Ward was among the best handlers I saw on Sunday and could efficiently penetrate the lane and kick the ball out or hit his shot.

Drew Wheeler 2020 Victory Ministry guard

Shooter

Drew Wheeler got hot early from the 3-point line to help his team bridge an early gap and take the lead.

Rayleen Bell 2020 D1 Prospects wing

Spot-up

Volume shooter

Though he wasn't the tallest player on the court, 5-foot-7-inch Rayleen Bell certainly made his mark on the score book when he knocked down four 3-pointers in the contest to propel D1 Prospects and keep defenders honest on close-outs.

Cameron Polk 2020 D1 Prospects wing

Rim protector

Athletic

Cameron Polk was most notably a rim protector for his team as he saved plays in transitions on a few occasions. Williams has explosive athleticism and was able to elevate to block shots with ease.

Chase Kellenberger 2020 Victory Ministry point guard

Floor general

Steal-first defender

Ball-handler

Chase Kellenberger was fantastic at leading the floor with sharp, seamless passing and using his quickness to clog passing lanes to get steals on the defensive end. Kellenberger has a nice handle that he used to penetrate the lane and get separation to dish the ball in motion. He also displayed the ability to pull up to finish the mid-range jumper in traffic.

Connor Burton 2020 Victory Ministry wing

Rebounder

Stretch

Defender

Connor Burton was best at stretching the floor by using his handle in the paint and playing a swingman role for his team. Burton was also great defensively, both in grabbing steals and protecting the rim. In transition, he was able to make plays with the pass. Additionally, he rebounded the ball well and put the ball in his teams' hands.

Heston Roberts 2020 D1 Prospects forward

Rebounder

Put-back guy

At 6-foot-7, Heston Roberts was the ideal low post and went to work. He had no nudist display much of his post skill as most of his touches came out of the rebound. His board skills allowed him to rack up second-chance points and give his team that advantage.
