Head coach Jamion Christian wasted no time on the recruiting trail at George Washington as he has landed his first 2020 pledge in combo guard, Lincoln Ball of Williamsport and Mid Atlantic Select. Ball is currently slotted 20th in our Maryland/DC rankings standing at 6'4 and is coming off a great junior season. When asked to describe his game when he is at his best, he said, "My game at best is being a slasher and play maker. I’m long and can play defense at a bigger guard position. Also, I have good court vision and IQ." He also has the capabilities of making a ton of shots in different areas of the court.

We asked him why he thought George Washington was the right fit, “I know GW has a special history, Coach Jamion has contagious energy and excitement that makes you believe in him. I know that he will take this program to new heights, and I want to be one of the key parts in that. The education here is outstanding and prolific as one of the best schools in the world. It’s a great fit for me and my family and I’m very comfortable with GW.”

Ball is looking forward to being used in the system that GW has ready for him, "They said I will be a combo guard that can bring the ball up, play the wing and just be a versatile guard.”

Lincoln has a message to the Colonial fans on what they can expect from him.

"Dedication and hard work, exciting style of play and ready to shake up the A10.”
