<p>UIL State All-Tournament Teams. Here are the selected prospects from the 1A - 3A Conferences. These players were selected by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches. </p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline; font-size: 18pt;"><strong>1A Boys Basketball - 2018-2019</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>Jake Gerber</strong></span> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">6'4 SG / <em>Nazareth</em> / 2019</span></p>
<p>Played very solid. He was able to finish inside. Hit some mid-range jumpers also. Defensively he was a menace. Active hands good lateral movement. Plays with a high motor. Finished with 24 points, 7 rebounds, 4 blocks, 2 steals, and 1 assist. Shot 9/16 from the field and 6/9 from the foul line.</p>

<span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>Aaron Hernandez</strong></span> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">5'10 PG / <em>Jayton</em> / 2020</span></p>
<p>Defensive anchor for his team. Was able to keep his man in front of him. Fundamentally sound on the defensive end. He was very pesky. Tourney average was 12 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1 apg, and 1 spg. Shot from the field 6/18-.333 from behind the arc 3/9-.333 and from the free throw line he shot 9/16-.562.</p>

<span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>Hunter Horner</strong></span> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">6'0 PG / <em>Slidell</em> / 2019</span></p>
<p>Smart point guard. Took smart shoots that weren't contested from the mid-range and layups. Has a decent bounce to his game. Tourney averages were 13.5 ppg, 4.5 rpg, and 1 spg. From the field, he shot 11/15-.733 from deep 1/1-1.000 and from the charity stripe 4/10-.400.</p>

<span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>Slayton Pruett</strong></span> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">6'6 PF / <em>Slidell</em> / 2020</span></p>
<p>Your 1A MVP. Plays with a good motor. A force on the inside defensively. Altering and blocking shots. He also is an active rebounder. Can play above the rim. Long wingspan with a slender frame. Had 21 rebounds in the championship game. Tourney averages were 8.5 ppg, 13 rpg, 3bpg, and 2 apg. From the field shot 8/13-.615 and the foul line 1/5-.200.</p>

<span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>Jerimiah Sargent</strong></span> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">5'10 PG / <em>Oakwood</em> /2020</span></p>
<p>The speedy point that is a score-first point. He was able to get by his defender off the dribble. Moved well without the ball as well. Finished with 18 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal. Shot 8/14 from the field and 2/6 from deep. </p>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline; font-size: 18pt;"><strong>2A Boys Basketball - 2018-2019</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>Jordan Boykins</strong></span> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">6'4 SG / <em>Shelbyville</em> / 2020</span></p>
<p>Played very solid the entire tourney. He is a threat from behind the arc. Has a great frame for his size. A good handle on the ball. Can create his own shot. Tourney averages were 21.5 ppg, 5.5 rpg, and 1 bpg. He shot from the field 15/30-.500 from behind the arc 8/15-.533 and from the foul line 5/10-.500. </p>

<span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>Jay Buckley</strong> </span><span style="text-decoration: underline;">5'10 PG / <em>Shelbyville</em> / 2020</span></p>
<p>Jay was awarded 2A tourney MVP. He is a quick guard with a mean first step. Finishes well around the rim. He was able to take his opponent off the dribble every time. Quick off the bounce also for his size. His tourney averages were 28 ppg, 6.5 rpg, and 1 bpg. From the field, he shot 23/38-.605 behind the arc 1/1-1.000 and from the free throw line 9/18-.500.</p>

<span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>Jalin Conyers</strong></span> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">6'5 SF/ <em>Gruver</em> / 2020</span></p>
<p>Solid body frame. Very physical with a strong handle on the ball. Has a good skill set. He is able to create his own shot. Take his man from the wing also. Finished well around the rim. In the first game, he put up 33 points. Tourney averages 27 ppg, 10 rpg, 1.5 bpg, and 1.5 spg. Shot from the field 18/24-.750 and the charity stripe 18/23-.782.</p>

<span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>Damion Dunn</strong></span> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">5'11 PG / <em>Hearne</em> / 2020</span></p>
<p>He is quick and dribbles low to the ground. Quick reads on ball screens. Got his teammates involved in the game. Active hands with good lateral movement. He wasn't enough by himself to move on but was clearly one of the best prospects in the 2A. He had a lot of good looks the ball just wasn't falling for him. He finished with 17 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals. Shot 7/23-FG, 1/7-3FG, 2/5-FT.</p>

<span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>Cole Ferguson</strong></span> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">6'5 PF / <em>Shelbyville</em> / 2019</span></p>
<p>He played very solid on the inside. Super active on the glass. Great energy on the defensive side. Sets a lot of solid screens. Boxes out every time a shot goes up. Tourney averages were 12 ppg, 13.5 rpg, 2 spg, 1.5 apg, and 1 bpg. Shot from the field 8/21-.380 and from the foul line 8/13-.615.</p>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline; font-size: 18pt;"><strong>3A Boys Basketball - 2018-2019</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>Vincent Iwuchukwu</strong></span> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">6'10 C / <em>San Antonio Cole</em> / 2022</span></p>
<p>This freshman had a huge impact on the game. A force in the paint. Has good hands. Great timing on shot blocking. He will be a prospect to keep an eye on. He wasn't enough by himself to advance to the next round. Finished with 10 points, 8 blocks, and 7 rebounds. Shot 5/9 from the field and went 0/2 from behind the arc.</p>

<span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>Dyeshun King</strong></span> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">5'10 PG / <em>Dallas Madison</em> / 2020</span></p>
<p>Had a solid showing especially in the title game where he scored 12 points. He netted in 4 trey balls. Has a good handle on the ball. Can be a deep ball threat. Finished the tourney with these averages 8.5 ppg, 3 rpg, 2apg, and 1 spg. He shot from the field 6/18-.333 and from deep 5/13-.384. </p>

<span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>Jerome Rodgers</strong></span> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">6'1 CG / <em>Dallas Madison</em> / 2021</span></p>
<p>He was crowned 3A MVP of the tournament. Aggressive on the attack. A scrappy defensive guy that is pesky. Finished the championship game with 14 points and 5 rebounds. He averaged 10 ppg, 2.5 rpg, and 2.5 apg. From the field he went 6/27-.222 from deep he shot 5/19-.263 and from the charity stripe, he shot 3/4-.750. </p>

<span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>Bradon Smith</strong> </span><span style="text-decoration: underline;">5'10 PG / <em>Brock</em> / 2019</span></p>
<p>A floor general with a nice IQ. Patient on the offensive end. Takes a lot of smart shots. His tourney averages were 13 ppg, 3.5 apg, and 2 rpg. His field goal shooting was 8/18-.444 from deep 1/3-.333 and the foul line 9/11-.818.</p>

<span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>Scott Thomas</strong> </span><span style="text-decoration: underline;">6'5 CF / <em>Brock</em> / 2019</span></p>
<p>He was a force inside on the first game. A decent rebounder. Has a good wingspan on him. His average for the tourney was 14.5 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 1.5 apg, and 1 spg. His shooting from the field was 13/28-.464 from behind the arc 1/6-.166 and from the charity line 2/2-1.000.</p>
