<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The UIL 2A Championship Game took place between Shelbyville Dragons (38-3)  vs Gruver Greyhounds (18-4). Both teams have played tremendously to get to this game. Only one team can walk away as the State Champs. Let's take a look at the synopsis and upshot of the game.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /> </span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /> </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Dragons controlled the game from the jump and never looked back.  Shelbyville guard play was a little too much. The Dragons dynamic duo of Buckley and Boykins outscored the Greyhounds going into the half 31-19. The second half of the game Gruver played solid basketball. Shelbyville was just as effective in the second half as they were in the first half. They were able to hold the lead and come out as the victors. </span></p> <table> <tbody> <tr> <td>&nbsp;</td> <td style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong> 1Q </strong></span></td> <td style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong> 2Q </strong></span></td> <td style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong> 3Q </strong></span></td> <td style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong> 4Q </strong></span></td> <td style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Total</strong></span></td> </tr> <tr> <td style="text-align: center;"><strong> Shelbyville </strong></td> <td style="text-align: center;">21</td> <td style="text-align: center;">16</td> <td style="text-align: center;">17</td> <td style="text-align: center;">13</td> <td style="text-align: center;">67</td> </tr> <tr> <td style="text-align: center;"><strong> Gruver</strong></td> <td style="text-align: center;">7</td> <td style="text-align: center;">12</td> <td style="text-align: center;">16</td> <td style="text-align: center;">13</td> <td style="text-align: center;">48</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /> </span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>Jay Buckley</strong></span> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">6’0 PG / <em>Shelbyville</em> / 2020</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Has a quick first step.
