<p>This past weekend in Columbia at the Colonial Life Arena 5 champions were crowned. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>High Point Academy (Spartanburg) defeated the Hemingway HS 70-55. The Grizzlies got their 1st State Title and defeated the Tigers for the 2nd time this season. <strong>Jayden Byrd</strong> (2020) led the way with 29 points while connecting on 6 three pointers. <strong>Isayah Owens</strong> (2020) added 17 points while <strong>Reginald Bell</strong> chipped in with 14 points. </p>

<p>The Tigers playing in their 4th straight state championship fell to (17-10). The Tigers were led in scoring by seniors <strong>Darius Taylor</strong> with 12 points and <strong>Darius "JuJu" Williams</strong> with 10 points. </p>

<p>Gray Collegiate cruised by Andrew Jackson (Kershaw) 79-38 to win back to back state titles in Class 2A. The War Eagles dominated from the start and were led by seniors <strong>Tommy Bruner</strong> with 19 points, <strong>Jalil Robinson</strong> 15 points and <strong>Khalil Robinson</strong> 12 points. The War Eagles finished the season at (21-10). </p>

<p>The Keenan HS Raiders were dominate all season long and on Saturday afternoon. The Raiders raced by Ridgeland-Hardeeville HS 70-40. The Raiders were dominate all season and finished the year at (30-1). The Raiders have claimed their 6th State Title under Head Coach Zach Norris. </p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong>Asanti Price</strong> (2019) led the way in the game with 22 points.<strong> Latrell Taylor</strong> (2019) and <strong>Dillon Jones</strong> (2020) both added 15 points in the victory while <strong>Raekwon Horton</strong> (2020) added 10 points. </p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong>Ny'gel Boozer</strong> led the way for the Jaguars with 18 points in the defeat. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Ridge View HS repeated as state champions with a victory over Wilson HS 65-52. The Blazers <strong>Walyn Napper</strong> led the way with 16 points and 8 assists. <strong>Ja'von Benson</strong> added 14 points and 10 rebounds while <strong>Cincere Scott</strong> chipped in with 14 points. Benson and Scott both juniors will be back next season on the Blazers roster. </p>

<p>Senior <strong>Darius Boatwright</strong> had 17 points and fellow senior <strong>Allen Williamson</strong> had 12 points. The Tigers finished the season at 16-9 </p>

<p>The Dorman HS fought off a feisty group from Berkeley HS 46-39. The Cavaliers have now won 3 straight titles and are the only winners of the Class 5A since it started. The Cavaliers were led by <strong>Myles Tate</strong> with 19 points while <strong>Jack Renwick</strong> added 11 points. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Middle Tennessee State football signee<strong> DJ Chisholm</strong> led the Stags in defeat with 14 points. <strong>Ishan White</strong> (2019) finished his high school career with 7 points and 13 rebounds. </p>
