Manuel Trejo 2019 Washington Point Guard
As Trejo goes Washington goes on offense. The quickness he plays with off the bounce opens up not only shots for himself but for teammates as well. Crossings Christian struggled to slow down his speed to the hoop. In the second half Trejo caught fire shooting the ball with his jumper. When he has all facets of his offensive game going he is tough to stop.
Alex Foster 2019 Washington Wing
Foster is the glue guy for the Washington Warriors on the Wing. The way he hustles non-stop on the floor gives Washington a huge plus on both ends. He shots the ball well when given open opportunities from behind the arc. If he was a younger prospect his college potential would be higher as it is late in the process. Without a doubt, Foster is a type of kid that is going to help a team win with leadership and hustle.
Reid Lovelace 2022 Crossings Christian Point Guard
After a slow start on Thursday night, Lovelace got going with a bucket inside. It was interesting seeing how Crossings Christian uses him as more of a two Guard rather than at his natural position the Point. It threw off his game a little if you ask me that he was playing out of position. He shot the ball well from three-point range. It will be fun to follow how his game evolves over the next few years.
Cooper Gudell 2021 Crossings Christian Wing
The form shot of Gudell is a thing of beauty to take in. At 6’2 Gudell brings consistent shooting from the outside for Crossings Christian. He thrives in spot-up situations making teams pay for leaving him open. The surprise of the night was when Gudell went up and made an extremely athletic block on the defensive end. If he can continue to do that his stock will only continue to rise. Gudell is a prospect small colleges will want to start targeting this summer as he projects to be a college player.
Daniel Koonce 2020 Crossings Christian Point Guard
The pace of play Koonce plays with allows him to have success knowing when to stop and start. Despite not having elite speed he coasted to the rim a few times sensing the weakness in the defense and exploiting it. The vision he has at the Point helps him to know when to attack and where his teammates are for open looks at the basket.
