Kamto Eze, 6’6, F, 2019, Grandview
A great rim protector who can block anything that comes inside. He is very quick on the floor in full court and half court situations. He plays incredibly well above the rim and can throw down dunks left and right. In addition to being an impressive north to south player, Eze has lateral quickness and can beat his opponent to hot spots on the floor and force turnovers. Someone who can defend the block or switch to the perimeter.
Darrius Hughes, 6’5, F, 2019, Rockhurst
A strong, athletic forward with a game that translates both inside and out. He has a physical frame and the ability to shoot from distance and take the ball inside and score off the glass. Hughes plays good defense as well, someone who protects the basket and swats shots.
Kian Scroggins, 6’7, PF, 2020, Raymore-Peculiar
Scroggins has emerged this season as one of the KC area’s premier interior players as he has taken his game to new heights. Scroggins combines good size and athleticism with a well-rounded skill set, able to post up and score on the block, shoot from the perimeter or even put the ball on the floor and attack the basket. A left hander, he gets to the free throw line and is a strong rebounder.
AJ White, 6’4, F, 2019, Rockhurst
A versatile interior player who combines strength, grit and power to the power forward position. He plays above his listed height and can move quickly through the lanes and around defenders on the block. White can play above the rim in transition and half court play. He is more skilled than he gets credit for and brings creativeness to the block. White recently committed to play at NCAA Division II Drury located in Springfield.
Jermaine Yarbrough, 6’6, F, 2019, Grandview
An athletic forward with good speed on both ends of the floor. He is a tough defender who can block shots and keep opponents uncomfortable when they have the ball. He is an inside player. He plays above the rim extremely well and is confident with his post moves. A player who lives inside and dominates the block because of it.
Nic Zeil, PF/C, 2019, Park Hill
Park Hill big man brings strength, toughness and a big motor to the floor. He has some old school about his game, willing to post up on the block and get big in the paint, but is also capable of stepping out to the perimeter and knocking down 3-pointers and can also make free throws at a high clip. He has committed to play at Truman State.
