<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Houston County point guard <strong>HB Morgan</strong> not only has one of the best names in Georgia’s 2021 class, but one of the best skill-sets, too.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Morgan, a 5-foot 8 point guard, is a quick and skilled lead guard, and says his diminutive frame actually helps him do what he does on the court. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“My height makes it easier for me to penetrate through defenders and finish around the basket,” said Morgan. “But I can also spread it out and shoot from outside. I can make plays for my teammates and get them involved, kick it out to them, stuff like that.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">With Houston County this season, the sophomore point guard says he averaged 10 points and four assists per game. He was both a sixth-man and a starter at times. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“We had a huge improvement from last year, going from 5-20 to 17-10. My role was to come off the bench and give the starters a break when they were tired,” said Morgan, who started the second half of the season.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This spring and summer will be Morgan’s 16U offseason, he’ll play with Warner Robins All-Stars again. Although his recruitment hasn't started up yet, it's something he's looking forward to get going in the coming months. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“My goals are to get looked at by colleges and just to improve my game, like defensively and being able to get my teammates more involved,” said Morgan. </span></p>
