Hustle Region Preview: Blue Chip Nation
We may be in the middle of high school basketball season but it’s not too early to look ahead to what’s coming up on the AAU circuit. Over the next few months we will be taking a look at the teams that will be participating in the PrepHoops Circuit Hustle Region and here’s a look at Blue Chip Nation out of Arizona.
Blue Chip Nation will have teams in the 17U, 16U, 15U, 14U, and 13U divisions of the Hustle Region and will be playing at the Bash in the Desert, Hustle in the Sun, and Hustle Region Finals. Here’s a transcript of a conversation we had with program director Turell Huff.
Why did you start your program? How long have you been around?
To give youth the a great basketball experience both on the court and off the court. We wanted to create an environment to that gave our players/families a family atmosphere. We also wanted to be one of very teams that provided exposure for our players, by taking them across the country to play against the top competition. We have been around for 3 years.
What is the goal of your program for 2019?
To help develop our players and really challenge them to be the best they can be. Another goal is to really expand our organization.
What is your program’s mission each year?
To provide a platform and experience that really benefits our guys. Another main goal and satisfaction is to see our guys sign and play on after High School.
Why did you choose the Prep Hoops Circuit?
We like the fact that it is a live period event for Division II schools to come out and watch. We think we have a ton of Division II kids, so this will really benefit them.
