<p style="text-align: center"><strong>Colony hosts Denton Ryan</strong></p>
The Colony out of Dallas, Texas has been playing very well so far this season. I watched them take on Ryan high school out of Denton. The Colony is talented in every position on the floor. They're led by<strong> Seniors<span style="color: #ff6600"> Luis Rodriguez, Garren Davis</span>, </strong>and <span style="color: #ff6600"><strong>Bryce Okpoh</strong></span>. Talented Underclassmen<span style="color: #ff6600"><strong> Tay Mosher</strong> </span>and football standout <span style="color: #ff6600"><strong>Keith Miller</strong> </span>are the other two starters that help shape up one of the best starting lineups in the state of Texas.
Against Denton Ryan, The Colony Cougars exploited them on the glass and in transition by beating them down the floor. Ryan's standout <strong>Junior <span style="color: #ff6600">Jay Wilson</span></strong> competed and showcased his athleticism despite the 60-51 lost to Colony.
Player Recaps
<p style="text-align: center"><strong><span style="color: #ff6600">Luis Rodriguez</span> / 5'8” / PG / Colony / 2019</strong></p>
Rodriguez is the straw that stirs the drink for the Colony Cougars. He shot the ball well and found open teammates for easy baskets.
<p style="text-align: center"><em><strong><span style="color: #ff6600">Bryce Okpoh</span> / 6'7” / Forward / Colony / 2019</strong></em></p>
Okpoh is an Athletic Forward that gets off the floor well and finishes above the rim. Okpoh rebounded the ball well against Ryan.
<p style="text-align: center"><em><strong><span style="color: #ff6600">Tay Mosher</span> / 6'7” / Forward / Colony / 2021</strong></em></p>
Mosher looks the part for his position and has a good looking jumper. Needs to be more aggressive attacking the basket from the perimeter. A decent Rebounder for the position has promising upside.
<p style="text-align: center"><em><strong><span style="color: #ff6600">Garren Davis</span> / 6'3” / Combo / Colony / 2019</strong></em></p>
Davis is a strong off the ball scorer that knows how to attack the lane and finish at the rim.
<p style="text-align: center"><em><strong><span style="color: #ff6600">Keith Miller</span> / 6'4” / Forward / Colony / 2020</strong></em></p>
Miller does a little bit of everything for his Colony team. Rebounds the ball well on both ends and makes tough plays for his team.
<p style="text-align: center"><em><strong><span style="color: #ff6600">Jay Wilson</span> / 6'7” / Wing / Denton Ryan / 2020</strong></em></p>
Wilson showed really good athletic ability and toughness. He has broad shoulders to go with a chiseled frame. He can start the break with the ball in his hands and finish in transition. He has good length and can guard on the ball on defense. Solid looking D1 Prospect for the class of 2020.
