The holiday season is here!  That means a ton of hoops is just around the corner.  We dive into the top Holiday Tournaments across the state with our previews.  Here is our look at the Proviso West Holiday Tournament!

9:30 AM         Leo vs Longwood
11:00 AM       Uplift vs Larkin
12:30 PM       Proviso East vs Hyde Park
2:00 PM         Bogan vs Niles West
4:00 PM         Fenwick vs Dunbar
5:30 PM         Hillcrest vs Proviso West
7:00 PM         Whitney Young vs Crete Monee
8:30 PM         St. Joseph’s vs Morton

 

Favorites to Win

There are three teams that we could see winning this event in Whitney Young, Leo, and Bogan.  All three have the formula with star power and veteran leadership.  A Leo semi-final with a matchup of North Carolina A&T commit Fred Cleveland and Ferris State commit Jeremiah Washington would be fun!  At the end of the day it is hard to bet against Whitney Young with the best unsigned senior in the state Myles Baker along with the #2 and #3 juniors in Illinois DJ Steward and Tyler Beard.
