Missouri standouts highlight Highland Shootout
Top players and teams from the Show-Me State will be well represented at the 2019 Highland Shootout, the annual showcase event in the St. Louis metropolitan area. The Highland Shootout field was announced on Wednesday at Prep Hoops Illinois.
Top Missouri teams Rock Bridge, Vashon, Chaminade, CBC and Poplar Bluff will all participate in the Shootout, which will be held on Saturday, Jan. 5 at Highland (IL) High School.
All five of the Missouri teams won district championships in 2018. Chaminade finished second in the Class 5 state tournament while Rock Bridge finished in third place in Class 5. CBC, Vashon and Poplar Bluff were all sectional qualifiers.
