Trayce Jackson-Davis Cuts List to Six
Trayce Jackson-Davis announced that he has cut his list of schools to six via his Twitter account this past Sunday. Teams on the list include: Indiana, Wake Forest, Michigan State, Iowa, UCLA, and Purdue.
He is coming off an outstanding summer with the Indy Heat program on the EYBL Circuit where he averaged 17.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks per game. His activity on both ends helped elevate his stock to the number one player in the Prep Hoops 2019 Rankings. Trayce is also ranked nationally at number fifteen in the ESPN 2019 Rankings as a five-star recruit.
Jackson-Davis has his schedule for visits set for the coming months as well. He will be visiting UCLA on August 31st, then on to Iowa on September 7th, followed by Wake Forest the following weekend on September 21st, Indiana on September 28th, and a final visit to Purdue on November 3rd. With his list cut down to six, Trayce has four of his six schools in the Big Ten Conference.
His summer solidified him as a legitimate power forward in the 2019 class. His development facing the basket was apparent with his ability to get to the basket off a dribble-move, and as always, he finishes at an elite level around the basket. Trayce Jackson-Davis also won a Gold Medal at the 2018 FIBA Americas U18 Championships with the United States U18 Olympic team.
Trayce Jackson-Davis has exploded onto the scene over the past two years and doesn’t show any signs of slowing down anytime soon. Look for him to continue to put up big numbers his senior season as he looks to solidify himself as the front-runner for the Indiana Mr. Basketball honors.
