Program Preview: Salt Lake Bounce

Salt Lake Bounce is a new club basketball organization ran by a Coach with a lot of experience. Coach Hector Marquez has this group moving in the right direction. In addition to having awesome jerseys that remind me of the old school Charlotte Hornets jerseys, the Salt Lake Bounce has a lot of talent to admire as well. This group has two 16U teams who compete at a high level. They has a number of next level prospects on these teams with a good mixture of skilled guards, wings, and posts.
Program Preview: Salt Lake Bounce
Kemari Bailey 6’5 SF/PF 2020 Juan Diego Catholic High School
Bailey is strong and physical. He has good footwork on the block and finishes well around the rim. He has the potential to be a solid rebounder and defender.

Saxon Cullimore 6’0 PG/SG 2020 Davis High School
Alec Dimik 6’3 SF 2020 Woods Cross High School
Dimik really impressed me at the AZ Club Basketball League due to his motor and change of pace. He has a nice one dribble hesitation that he uses on the wing and the baseline that freezes the defender and allows him to get to the rim at will.
[player_tooltip player_id="755606" first="Laurbong" last="Gai"] 6’6 PF 2020 Juan Diego Catholic High School
Gai is long and fairly versatile. He has a good motor and moves well laterally. Offensively, he executes well for the Salt Lake Bounce and is constantly moving without the basketball. Defensively, he is a rim protector who is capable of guarding most 3-5s.

Erik Humphries 6’2 PF 2021 Bingham High School
Kalthom Kur 6’5 PF 2019 Juan Diego Catholic High School
Kur is one of the more athletic bigs on this team. His athleticism enables him to guard many 2s and 3s as well as 4s and 5s. He runs the floor extremely well and is constantly on the go. He is a good rebounder who has a lot of upside.
A.J Owen 6’0 PG 2020 Highland High School

[player_tooltip player_id="755552" first="Chris" last="Rich"] 6’0 PG/SG 2020 Highland High School
Rich is a capable shooter from deep who slashes to the rim well. He makes good decisions with the basketball and does not force it. He understands his role within the team and creates for himself and others well. Rich is apart of a really good group of guards on this roster.

[player_tooltip player_id="969633" first="Tyler" last="Thompson"] 6’0 PG/SG 2021 Corner Canyon High School
Thompson was another prospect who really impressed me at the AZ Club Basketball League. He has really good change of pace and direction for such a young prospect. Further, he sees the floor well and makes his teammates better. He is constantly getting by his defender and putting the help side defense in a tough spot. On defense, he is a solid on ball defender who competes at a high level.
[player_tooltip player_id="755560" first="Nate" last="Warr"] 6’1 SG 2020 Highland High School
Warr plays extremely hard and is a good slasher. He can finish with either hand and gets into the paint frequently. In addition, he is a capable shooter from deep. He is also a good on ball defender with a strong build and good lateral movement. Warr is a solid prospect for the Salt Lake Bounce.
