Adidas Three Stripes (Class of 2022 Standouts)
Here is a look at some of the top young Class of 2022 standouts from last weekend’s Adidas Three Stripes at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO.
Luther Burden III 5’11” Brad Beal Elite 14U
A physically strong guard who displayed the ability to create buckets at all three levels. He has good handles and knows how to create separation and get shots for himself. He can power his way to the basket to score or he can knock down mid-range jumpers and 3-pointers off the dribble. He will also dump it off to the open man off dribble penetration. He will attend Cardinal Ritter.
Rob Martin 5’8″ Brad Beal Elite 14U
A very talented young point guard who is very adept at facilitating the offense and getting buckets with equal effectiveness. He has good quickness and some slick handles which enable him to create offense an any spot on the floor. He does a good job of running the pick and roll where he can get downhill to score at the basket or knock down 3-pointers. He will attend CBC.
Isaac Turner 6’0″ Gateway 15U
A very solid young guard who is playing up at the 15U level during the grassroots season. He is very poised and has a good overall skill set. He displayed the ability to knock down 3-pointers on a consistent basis. He is from Greenville, IL.
Tyson Ford 6’4″ Brad Beal Elite 14U
A young big bodied post player who is an excellent inside threat at both ends of the court. His long arms gave him a big advantage on defense as he was able to block a lot of shots. He is a load in the paint on offense with his ability to carve out space and get buckets in the paint. He also runs the court well. Will attend John Burroughs.
