This is a continuation of our look at Michigan prep basketball players that have had an outstanding spring season. These players have excelled in AAU/travel season and have made a name for themselves, increased their stock as recruits, or had dominating performances. Take a look at our previous two Super Spring articles as well:  Super Spring: Part 1 and Super Spring: Part 2.

Rocket Watts

2019, CG, The Family, Old Redford

Watts has had as solid of a spring season as any prep player in the country. He’s one of the top bucket getters nationwide and can score from anywhere on the court.

Hunter Kegley

2019, PG,M2K Elite, St. Mary Catholic Central

Kegley has been one of the most efficient point guards in the state this spring. He’s a physically strong kid who finds teammates.

Anthony Rosati

2020, 6’4”, Post, Macomb Cougars 16u

Rosati is a throwback post player. He’s a good rebounder and has a dependable jumper from 10 feet.

Kobe Bufkin Kobe Bufkin Kobe Bufkin 6'4" | SG Grand Rapids Christian | 2021 State #71 Nation MI

2021, 6’2”, SG, UTS Elite 15u, Grand Rapids Christian

Bufkin is a long athlete who gets to the basket and finishes. He’s a high energy player who makes hustle plays.

Josh Palo

2019, G, Howell

Palo has shown the ability to light up a scoreboard. He’s extremely smart with the ball in his hands.

Carlos Johnson Carlos Johnson 6'6" | SF Benton Harbor | 2020 State #83 Nation MI

2020, F, The Family, Benton Harbor

Johnson is  high major Division 1 talent. He’s a physically strong athlete who’s a walking double-double.

Maliq Carr Maliq Carr 6'6" | SF Oak Park | 2020 State #195 Nation MI

2020, F, The Family, Oak Park High School

Carr is a beast who can be active on the glass. He’s a physical player with good hip movement.

Dreyon O’Neal 

6’7”, F, Michigan Playmakers 17u, Old Redford

O’Neal has been scoring at all three levels. Offensively, he’s been a matchup nightmare. On defense, he’s shown the ability to guard multiple positions.

Romeo Weems

2019, SF, The Family, New Haven

Weems is an elite talent nationally. He’s one of the most versatile stat sheet stuffers in the country.

Nigel Colvin

2019, G, Greenwood Elite, River Rouge

Colvin has been a clutch scorer all spring. He’s one of the top perimeter defenders in Michigan.

Reece Hazelton Reece Hazelton 6'7" | SF Glen Lake | 2020 State MI

2020, 6’6”, F, Northern Exposure 16u, Glen Lake High School

Hazelton shoots from 25 feet with consistency. He has shown impressive footwork in the post which helps him score and rebound.

B. Artis White

2019, G, The Family, Canton,

This young man is an elite defender who has handles and a dangerous perimeter game.

Vinson Sigmon

2019, G, Greenwood Elite, Canton

Sigmon has great body control which helps make him a creative finisher. He’s also an excellent on ball defender.

Nolan Foster 

2019, 6’10”, Post, MBA, Mattawan

Foster is a big man with a nice mid range game. He creates space in the paint in order to score as well.

Jacarri Barnes

2021, F, UTS Elite 15u

Barnes is an athletic forward who gets buckets and stays active on the glass.

Nick Morgan Nick Morgan 6'3" | CG Taylor Prep | 2021 State MI

2020, F, Downriver Bad Boys 15u

Morgan is an athletic player who is seeing his stock rise quickly.

Tyler Mack Tyler Mack 6'4" | SG Cousino | 2020 State MI

2020, 6’4”, Wing, Macomb Cougars 16u

Mack is a long player who can shoot the triple.

Miekael Brooker

2022, The Program 15u

Brooker is an 8th grader playing up. He has proven this spring that he will be one of the top incoming freshman in Michigan.

Micah Parish

2019, 6’6”, SF, M2K Elite

He’s a dominant rebounder and shot blocker.

Ethan Bach

2019, 6’5”, Post, Macomb Cougars, Lutheran North

Bach is a smart player who is very solid on the offensive end.

Jonathan Wilkerson

2019, G, Lansing Prospectors, East Lansing

Wilkerson is a skilled guard who has proven to be a player to watch the remainder of the summer.

Javel Lewis

2019, 6’7”, F, Lansing prospectors, Grand Ledge

Lewis is a good leaper and a solid post passer.
