Each week we highlight those who have stood out in what will be a season long tradition spotlighting the top producing prospects in the state of Idaho.
With district tournament play taking place, the action intensified across the state and produce some very noteworthy performances from some of the very best players the Gem state has. We saw overtime performances, monster double-doubles and straight up scoreboard domination by others. However, it was the excellent two game stretch of Burley’s Ryan Bagley in which voters felt compelled enough to select as this week’s Prep Hoops Idaho POTW.
Bagley has turned it on as of late and went for 28 points, 10 rebounds and six assists in his team’s win over Minico. Then, the 6 foot 1 guard posted 22 points, 4 rebounds and three assists in a win against Twin Falls. The win over Twin Falls earned Burley a spot at the state tournament and also placed them in the Great Basin Conference district tournament championship game this Thursday. Congratulations to Ryan Bagley, our Prep Hoops Idaho Player of the Week!
