Devan Cambridge Recruiting Update (2019)
Transferring to Believe Prep proved to be a deft maneuver for Devan Cambridge, formerly of Pope John II (Hendersonville, Tennessee). His modest recruiting profile quickly surged.
Also, Cambridge reclassified to 2019 positioning himself as a high second-tier player in a vaunted Tennessee statewide class.
"I'm playing great," shared Devan Cambridge. "I've made a lot of noise so far."

Tennessee Prep has a formidable front line and features several D1 prospects. Cambridge hardly cowered. He displayed wonderful athleticism during the spotlight weekend.
Believe Prep has other scoring threats, so Cambridge is not swarmed by opposing defenses. Attacking from the wing or along the baseline appears to be Cambridge's comfort zone. With ideal wing length he can finish over bigs in traffic. A wing at Cambridge's size lacking athleticism and bounce would still be a nice asset, but Cambridge is not lacking anything in that department.
He has the same quick first step as older brother Desmond Cambridge (Brown) along with vertical explosion.
Playing with taller teammates Devan is able to expand his guard's game and rarely gets tasked with the typical big man duties like defensive rebounding. Scouts will instantly see the room for growth upon evaluation.
Believe Prep turned into a wonderful landing zone for Cambridge to enjoy a basketball launchpad to hoop success.
