Rameybasketball Fall League (2020 Standouts)
Prep Hoops Missouri was on hand at the Rameybasketball Fall League on Sunday at Cardinal Ritter. Here is a look at some of the top Class of 2020 players at the league:
Jordan Nesbit 6’5″ Lutheran North: The big wing player is one of the top prospects in the state in the class. He has size, good strength and a versatile skill set. He can score in the post against smaller guards and he has a nice mid-range jumper off the bounce. The biggest development is his improved 3-point shooting, which makes him even more difficult to guard. Jordan has all the elements to develop into a top-level prospect.
Cam’ron Fletcher 6’5″ Vashon: A very talented young offensive player who scored 17 points in his team’s victory on Sunday. He is an excellent 3-point shooter with a high-arching release that looks very good. He is also a very explosive athlete who can get out on the break to convert breakaway dunks and alley-oops. He’s a definite Division I prospect in the making.
Armoni Ward 6’3″ Vashon: A talented young wing player who scored 24 points and knocked down four 3-pointers to lead his team to a victory. He knocked down a couple of shots from well beyond the 3-point line. When defenders closed out on him, he was able to get to the basket and score on the drive.
Elijah Bishop 6’6″ Soldan: A strong, physical post player who was one of the best in the league at scoring in the lane. He uses his big body to get good position and he knows how to finish around the basket with a variety of post moves. I really liked his up and under move. He also stepped outside and knocked down a corner 3-pointer.
Kobe Clark 6’4″ Vashon: A versatile all-purpose player who does a little bit of everything to help his team. He has good size and length and has the ability to handle the ball and facilitate the offense with his passing ability. Kobe is also a good rebounder who can defend and get into the passing lanes. He has a nice upside.
Sam Richardson 6’5″ Hancock: The versatile combo forward scored 16 points in his team’s victory on Sunday. Sam is very good around the basket where he scored on a variety of drives, offensive rebounds and in transition. His skill level is good and he has a strong motor that enables him to get things done.
J.J. Schwepker 6’4″ Fort Zumwalt South: A nice perimeter forward who knocked down several 3-pointers on his way to scoring 14 points. He has good size and he has the ability to really stretch out the defense. He also did a good job of moving without the ball and getting to the open spots.
