Prospect Spotlight: Jordan Lee (2018)
Coming off of a season that resulted in coming up short against Bridgewater-Emery in the district 8B championship, Jordan Lee of Canistota has high expectations for his final season on the court.
The 5’11 point guard is ranked number thirty-five on Prep Hoops’ rankings.
Lee had himself a busy summer playing for BBA Force 2 this past summer and feels he made multiple improvements that will help his team succeed and push Canistota to the state tournament.
“I was working on my game and weaknesses whenever I had the chance to. I was putting up a lot of shots and doing drills over the summer to help me improve. I think that being able to travel and play against a lot of different players all over was a great experience for becoming a better basketball player. Having coaches by your side that help you become a better player or athlete is always a great thing to experience.”
Jordan knows he has room to improve, and hopes to do so before winter rolls around and basketball season arrives.
I personally hope to improve my game, get better at game situations and know how to get along with my team in the game.
Taking charge and being a leader is something that many seniors but take the task of accomplishing, and Jordan is confident and ready to take the open position.
“I’m going to help take my team to state and have a better record than we did last year. I hope our team can work great as a team and do our best so that we can to make it to state and become state champions. I’m going to teach the younger guys to always work on their game whenever they have the chance to do so that our team is always improving. I think having a great season with my team and becoming state champions would make my senior season very memorable.”
Although no offers are officially on the table, Jordan Lee is open to the opportunity.
“No one has reached out to me yet, but I would like to play collegiate basketball. If someone did recruit me, I would love to play.”
