Recruiting Report: Bryant Nalley (2018)
Over the last few years, the talent in the Evansville area has continued to pick up and you have seen more and more players from that area begin to become more common names around the state. Pike Central (IN) forward Bryant Nalley has been a part of that.
Nalley, a 6’5 forward, has been on our radar for a while now. He’s a mix-and-match forward that can play inside and out with his ball handling and shooting ability. While having some skills on the wing, he hasn’t forgotten his place as a low post threat. He’s adept on the low block with his ability to move and create. He’s got some decent footwork and enough size to body up.
In the same stretch of a game, Nalley can step out and knock down and open jumper. He’s got plenty of skill and at the right level, he’s going to be a mismatch with some ability to switch. DIII and NAIA programs could provide him a bit more versatility at this point.
As far as recruiting, things are still early as it is for most prospects at this stage. He has a wide variety of schools showing interest, schools like Earlham, Rose-Hulman, Bethel, Franklin, Wabash, and Malone. He has already been on Earlham’s campus. While still undecided about a degree in college, Nalley is still a bit out from a decision on a college program as well. Right now, he will focus on his upcoming season with Pike Central.
