Recruiting Report: Braydon Kincaid (2018)
The 2018 class at Greenwood (IN) has been one that colleges around the area have been waiting on to come around for a while. They have many players that have been worthy of recruiting attention for a while and now we are at a point when patience is paying off. They have a handful of 2018’s worth a look and one of them is guard Braydon Kincaid.
The 6’1 guard from the Southside of Indianapolis has been a constant performer for a few years now and with the final year of high school getting going this month, his recruiting is starting to take off. Kincaid is drawing interest from a handful of NAIA and DIII programs in the Midwest. Madonna, Indiana Tech, Bethel College, DePauw, Trine, and Adrian College.
Schools are looking at Kincaid for his ability to do so many things. He’s not a true point guard but he can handle the ball well enough and does well as a rebounder and distributor. He’ll have to pick up on the perimeter jumper but he has such a balanced game without it that he won’t have much downside.
The Greenwood prospect has really done well to limit his risk and with an improvement as a jump shooter, his stock could continue to rise. He’s looking for a possible Criminal Justice or Computer Science degree at the next level. His upcoming senior season for Greenwood (IN) could give him the platform to draw in more interest as we approach the season.
