Class of 2020 Forwards/Posts
Here is a look at the top Class of 2020 forwards in Missouri:
Davion Bradford 6’10” CBC: The biggest of the young post players in the state. He has an imposing presence on the defensive end with his size and shot blocking ability. His offense is still a work in progress, but he has continued to improve after a year of varsity basketball and playing up at the 16U level with Brad Beal Elite for part of the summer.
Ethan Kilgore 6’6″ East Buchanan: A skilled combo forward who enjoyed a productive freshman year at Class 2 East Buch, but stepped up and had a big summer for KC Run GMC on the Under Armour Circuit. His versatile skill set enabled him to excel around the basket and on the perimeter as a shooter and passer.
Omar Stanley 6’6″ Hogan Prep: An athletic young big who is an excellent rebounder and shot blocker. He’s active and has good timing around the basket. In late July, he started to showcase some ball handling and shooting skills on the perimeter. He has a substantial upside.
Devion Moore 6’6″ Parkway Central: A skilled combo forward who made very good strides over the course of the year. He’s long and aggressive and has a good defensive presence around the basket. He doesn’t back down against bigger and stronger kids. He is developing a solid skill set which will make him even more effective in the future.
Ryan Kalkbrenner 6’8″ Trinity: A long and lanky young big with excellent and size and wingspan, which enables him to be a very effective shot blocker. He is a solid rebounder who also has a nice shooting touch from out to 12 to 15 feet. Could end up being one of the tallest players in the class.
Elijah Bishop 6’5″ Soldan: A solid low post big who does most of his damage around the basket. He has a big body and he knows how to use it by getting good position and finishing strong in traffic.
