UMSL Shootout Recap (Class of 2018 Guards/Wings)
Here is a look at some of the top guards and wings from last Friday’s University of Missouri-St. Louis Shootout:
Miles Jones 6’4″ St. Mary’s: A versatile wing player with a strong body and a good skill set. He has the ability to get into the paint and get buckets, plus he can handle it and step outside and knock down jumpers off the dribble.
R.J. Wright 6’1″ Webster Groves: The slender wing player continued to shoot the basketball well as he plays with a lot of confidence. He is primarily a knock down shooter off the catch, but he started to make plays off the dribble as well.
Kobe Smith 6’4″ Ritenour: A good sized wing player who has a lot of offensive ability. When he has it going, he can really score. He is comfortable with his handle as he can get to the basket and knock down jumpers off the dribble.
Davis Aufdembrink 6’2″ CBC: He is always one of the top shooters in the game when he steps on the floor. His long range shooting allows the Cadets to space the court as he can extend well beyond the 3-point line.
Jordan Doyle 6’0″ Parkway South: A very solid combo guard who did a good job handling the ball and knocking down open 3-pointers. He has been good off the bench throughout his career, but will probably be asked to play a bigger role as a starter as a senior.
