Omar Maulana – 6’1 guard – Seattle Select – 2021
This young man is as aggressive as they come. He has a very good handle, good foot work to set up his blow by attacks and is a physical defender on the wing. He has a good mid-range jump shot and has the ability to apply pressure to the opposing guard all game along, which doesn’t only take intensity but HEART…
Eric Overgaard – 6’2 guard – NW Panthers – 2018
Eric played a complimentary role during his Junior year on one of the deepest teams in the state especially at the guard position. He stepped out into more of a featured role this summer. This guard has size and can score from the lead guard position. Little bit of helium heading into July for this guard.
Khyree Armstead – 6’4 guard – North City Basketball – 2018
Khyree closed out the spring with a bang! The athletic guard proved a few things. He could run a team and get buckets at the same time. His speed and acceleration in the open floor is something to see. After a strong close to the spring he will have low-major schools monitoring him and making sure they get a chance to get out to see him. Can definitely play at a high level.
Cole Hicks – 5’10 guard – NDO Hornets – 2019
When you think of a combo guard, you think of a player who can shoot, handle the ball and create opportunities for his teammates. Cole Hicks embodies that style of play. Standing 5 foot 11, his speed and ball handling ability enables him to get to the basket with ease.
Going into his junior year next season at Timberline High School in Lacey, WA. Cole is looking to break out and capture the eyes of many D2-D3 schools who are need of his many skill sets. This spring and summer, he will be playing for NDO HORNETS out of Lacey, WA.
Ryder Kavanagh – 6’2 guard – North City Basketball – 2018
Ryder saw his stock rise a ton this past season. The 6’2 point guard has a lot of intriguing tools with his length, ability to handle the ball, and can defend multiple positions at a high level. College coaches are going to want to see improvement in the jump shot. We would expect many mid-major programs across the Midwest to make sure they get out to see this guard in July.
