Thoughts: There isn’t a ton of size in this class and some of the better size has chosen to play other sports this year. In this group, Obermeier will be the one heading to Ball State for football and Peterson likely for baseball. However, you still have some intriguing pieces with guys like Zach Munson, Jack Hansen, Dalton DuBois, and Garrett Pumphrey. Pumphrey is a good shot blocking big man, Munson an inside-out threat, and Hansen has some really good shooting ability on the wing.
Some other names to key in on as you watch would be Sam Fulton from Mater Dei, Darian Porch from Pike, and Matt Cornett from South Decatur. Fulton is a very efficient big man with a great frame, Porch a bouncy four-man who can play both ways, and Cornett has been a guy talked about as a potential diamond in the rough.
Deeper prospects that could be fits for DIII and NAIA schools would be guys like Thabit Gault, Kellen Schreiber, and Isaac Combs. All have plenty of versatility but need a little more time to develop their bodies and game but worthy of a look at this event.
