Breakdown: As it is with most years, you come into the spring having heard or seen some strong performances by players that surprise you a bit. Now, you have to get eyes on them and see if their improvements are true or not. With this Top 10, we look at some of those names.
A couple of the higher level guys to watch out for are Hunter White and Jalan Mull. White has already been getting a ton of DII and LM looks. He’s a good bet to land his first offer sometime this summer. Mull has completely changed his game and body has grown. Could be a guy that goes anywhere from DII to MM depending on how the rest of the summer goes.
Versatility is always a big things these days and guys like Luke Gohmann and Christian Wells have that. Wells is a big, strong forward that can score the ball and surprises with his athletic ability. Could be a good inside-out option. Gohmann has the ball handling you want from a wing and a big frame to mess around with. If he can be consistently productive, he could and should get more interest.
Lucas Lehrman is a guy that has really surprised this spring with his peaks. He has some valleys still but with a lack of size in the class, he has the mobility and strength to play as a low post threat.
Size is really poor in this class which even makes taller wings more coveted. Demetrius Young Jr. is one of the better mid-range creators and scorers and has size at 6’5. Cortney Shorter is a really active wing that can put up points at 6’4. Could play any wing spot needed.
