He’ll head into his 15U grassroots season with a full head of steam after leading his team in scoring as a frosh. Jackson says his game is predicated on blow-by ability and getting to the rack.
“I think my strength is getting to the basket, midrange jump shots and getting my teammates open,” said Jackson.
“I’m focused on improving agility and creating my shot more, and making my shot off the dribble.”
He averaged 11.8 points per game as a freshman, and the sky’s the limit for the next three years in Fallon for this standout wing.
“They needed me to score and I was our leading scorer this year. I played a really big role and we had a really good season,” he said. “Our coaches said we went farther than we’ve ever gone this season; we were one game from state.”
As his offseason gets into full-swing, Jackson mentioned that he’ll be running with Jam On It this spring and summer.
“My goal is to just get a lot of experience and exposure, and get used to playing upper level against a lot of older kids and stuff like that,” he said.
“I’m hoping this summer that recruitment starts up; offers, letters, exposure, all that stuff.”
