Strengths: The strength of this group is the shooting ability and size. With guys like Noah Back, Isiah Moore, and Brandon Vernon you have three guys that can really light it up from outside. However, they still have the size with Wesley Jordan and Hogan Orbaugh in the post to compete down low. Could be an interesting group this season that could put up some big numbers.
Why College Programs Should Watch: DII all the way up to MM programs should be looking at this team. Jordan, Smith, Moore, Vernon, and Shouse have a ton of room to grow with potential to jump up a level this summer. However, Orbaugh has come a long way this year in his development of his body and he looks great. If you need a scoring guard in 2019, Smith, Moore, and Shouse could be of interest.
Player To Watch: Wesley Jordan (Lawrence Central) – Jordan has only begun to scratch the surface of his potential. He has his elbow jumper down pat now and can bust it out at any time. However, he’s capable of finishing over either shoulder. If he can continue to stretch his game out to three, he could really become an intriguing player in the class in the Midwest.
Where To Find Them: EG10 will be around Indianapolis a ton but they get started this weekend up in Wisconsin for NY2LA’s first event. They are also a part of the Adidas Gauntlet so look for them in Dallas and Atlanta in the first two live periods.
