Match-Ups
PG. Kyle Henningsgard (5-11, Sr) of HCV vs Blake Anderson (5-9, Sr) of TLMM. Blake Anderson is one of the key TLMM scoring weapons and a ball handler. A solid player. But Kyle Henningsgard had has a fantastic senior year scoring 16 plus a game plus dishes out 5-6 assists a night. Kyle will be one of the best players in the tournament.
Wing 1. Tanner Linnell (5-11, Sr) of HVC vs Jacob Butler (5-8, So) of TLMM. Tanner has been the third scoring option for HCV all season plus he’s a dependable player moving the ball and creating as well. Butler is a solid role player who often has come off the bench. Young player but gets varsity minutes as he’s growing.
Wing 2. Austin Reed (6-1, Sr) of HCV vs Trapper Jacobs (6-2, So) of TLMM. Austin is the guy that stuffs the stat sheet for HCV. He’s scoring option number two, a solid rebounder, and he can create. He’s a playmaker and a tough competitor. The TLMM offense will flow through Trapper who is a 20 plus point per game guy who is capable of even more. Both Reed and Jacobs are capable of leading these teams to wins.
Forward 1. Benjamin Dryburgh (6-2, Sr) of HCV vs Trey Klain (6-0, Jr) of TLMM. Klain has had some big scoring outputs but his most important role is tough guy rebounder and defender around the basket. Dryburgh is bigger than Klain but Klain will score more. They play similar roles.
Forward 2. Jack Camrud (6-4, Jr) of HCV vs Seth Lafromboise (6-0, Jr) of TLMM. Jack is one of the most physical rebounders in the state grabbing over 14 a game. He will get his putbacks and dump-offs but his biggest role is grabbing boards and sending the ball up the floor with outlets. Seth is the top TLMM rebounder for his team and he will score more than Camrud.
6th. Carson Henningsgard (6-0, Fr, Guard)/Cade Baesler (6-4, Jr, Forward) of HCV vs Tanner Freeman (5-11, Sr) of TLMM.
