College coaches are going to be out and about after some of their seasons are coming to an end. With that in mind, we breakdown each Regional with the best players still available.
TRITON REGIONAL:
Keegan Fetters – 6’2 | SG | Lakewood Park
Trevor Day – 6’3 | SF | Lakewood Park
THOUGHTS: At Triton, you have the duo from Lakewood Park that have been playing really well this season. Trevor is a bit of an undersized froward but in college he could transition pretty well to a 2/3 for a DIII program. Fetters is a skilled guard with size and a penchant for scoring the ball. He’s a guy that should be looked at by DIII and high-end NAIA programs.
FRANKFORT REGIONAL:
Ronny Williams – 5’9 | PG | Liberty Christian
Trajan Dixon – 6’1 | SG | Liberty Christian
Billie Webster III – 6’4 | SG | Seton Catholic
Avery Denhart – 6’3 | SG | Central Catholic
THOUGHTS: At Frankfort, you have quite a few guard options to look at. Ronny Williams is the best of the bunch and is going really under-the-radar. He could really bring some speed and scoring to a NAIA program. Dixon would give you an athletic option with a great frame but a raw skill set. Webster is a bit of a project with his frame but he’s shown this season that he can score the ball and handle it in the open floor. Denhart is a bigger guard but has really taken steps this year scoring the ball. DIII programs could find solid fits in this Regional.
MARTINSVILLE REGIONAL:
Tanner Yeryar – 6’0 | PG | Shakamak
THOUGHTS: There is only one player still on the board in Martinsville but he is a good one. Yeryar is a tall guard who has grown a ton over the last year and his handles and scoring have increased quite a bit. He would be a steal for a DIII or NAIA program this late in the year.
LOOGOOTEE REGIONAL:
Stevie Mack – 6’6 | C | New Washington
Tye Collins – 6’1 | SG | Loogootee
THOUGHTS: At Loogootee, you have a pair of players to take a look at. Stevie Mack is a big bodied post player who can step out and shoot it a bit. Collins is a tough guard with some size and and has really improved as a scorer over the last year and has the academics to fit in at a DIII program.
