“It’s going great,” Carlow said of the year. “We’re having some growing pains, we have a lot of new players in our rotation, and our bench goes deep this year. We’re starting to click in all areas as a team.”
Carlow joins Brayden Uses Arrow and junior Jayce Archambault as three big weapons for Solen.
Montel caught our eye this off-season and he continues to improve.
“I worked really hard on my game this past summer,” Montel said. “I was in the gym everyday, whether it’s lifting or working on my shot. I know I improved a lot, I now developed a jump shot. I got stronger in the lane, and my passing has gotten a lot better from last year.”
One program is doing the smart thing and making regular calls to Montel.
“Northland College is the only one showing interest right now, hopefully by the end of the season I’ll have more. I am planning on playing college basketball next year!”
