“The season has been great,” Kade said. “Our team has gotten closer and we feel like we are starting to see the potential our team has.”
Century has won six straight games including a very important win over Dickinson. Kade had 14 points and four assists in that big victory. It was the start of both Admundson and his team of going in a strong direction to end the year.
“I have started finding my place in the offense,” said Amundson. “Whether it is stretching to the three, playing on the block, or drawing the double team and finding the open man. I’m excited with what we are able to accomplish when we have our offense flowing.
“On the defensive end I’ve worked on the ball defense and moving my feet to get around in the post. Another thing is position defense and when the right time to help over or stay home.
Kade is giving his team 7.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, and a team high in blocks this year. He’s shot 46 percent from the field and 37 percent at the arc.
“I feel we are playing good ball going into the end of the season,” Kade said. “If we keep doing the things we are doing I think we have a chance to make a run and do something special.”
Amundson stands an agile 6-foot-6 at power forward and schools have been talking to him.
“I have visited U of Mary and Minnesota State-Moorhead, but for now I’m trying to focus on our season,” Kade said.
