Top Seed: Hogan Prep – The Rams are very small, yet they are very quick and they play at a high rate of speed., averaging 74 points a game. Hogan Prep is led by dynamic 5’8″ 2018 guard Damien Daniels, who is averaging nearly 23 points a game. Hogan Prep also relies on 2019 guard RodvonJennings, 2017 forward Jai’len Jones and 2018 guard Rashaan Collins.
Top Challenger: Barstow – The Knights have been to the state championship game the past three years, winning it all in 2015 and finishing second in 2014 and 2016. Barstow’s hopes of going back to the Final Four a fourth consecutive year rest mainly on the shoulders of stellar 2017 guard Jacob Gilyard. The 5’11” Richmond signee has been spectacular this season, averaging nearly 35 points a game.
Darkhorse: Summit Christian – Just like Hogan Prep and Barstow, Summit Christian relies on the talents of 6’2″ 2017 guard General Williams, who is also capable of putting up some big numbers.
