Top Seed: Knox County: The Eagles are entering the district tournament with 20 victories and the championship of the Lewis & Clark Conference. Knox County features an excellent guard in 6’0″ 2017 Noah Talton, who is averaging 18 points a game. Hayden Miller, a 6’1″ 2018 guard averages 14 points a game. They are the Eagles’ dynamic duo
Top Challenger: Louisiana: The Bulldogs, which received the No. 2 seed, have the most dangerous offensive player in the field in 5’9″ 2019 guard Derek Richards, who is averaging more than 22 points a game. Richards can score from just about anywhere on the court and has the ability to take over the game at any time. The Bulldogs are small, but they are scrappy.
Darkhorse: Clopton: The host Hawks are quite capable of winning the tournament on their home court. They are a solid team that plays well together. They are led by 6’2″ 2017 forward Stephen Talbert, who averages 13 points a game. Landon Hall, a 6’1″ 2018 guard, averages 11 points and plays a fine all-around game.
