4A Offensive Teams:
No surprise that Castle is one of the most potent offenses but a little bit of a surprise they are the best. They are the best team in their area in Evansville and they can dominate most of their opponents. Riley plays little defense but on offense, not many can keep up with them. North Central isn’t a surprise at all because they are the best team in the state when they have everyone rolling and it is impressive when they also play one of the toughest schedules in the state.
- Castle – 81.71 ppg
- South Bend Riley – 74.62 ppg
- North Central – 73.42 ppg
3A Offensive Teams:
If you have seen any of these three teams this season, it would be a shock if it was anyone else. They are three of the top four offenses regardless of class. The most intriguing thing out of this is if Manual and Attucks do get the semifinal matchup in the Brebeuf Jesuit Sectional on Friday night. Last time they played it took a Courvosier McCauley halfcourt heave to knock off Attucks.
- Crispus Attucks – 79.36 ppg
- Evansville Bosse – 77.73 ppg
- Indianapolis Manual – 76.57 ppg
2A Offensive Teams:
Indianapolis Howe has a few more losses than they did last season but they are just as potent on offense as they were a year ago. Southwood is the surprise of this group. Not too often are you going to get a rural team to make this list and oddly, we have two of them. Southwood has played a tough 2A schedule and put up these points. Cloverdale might be even more impressive just from the fact that they are doing it with really only two scoring threats in Cooper Neese and Jalen Moore.
- Indianapolis Howe – 76.42 ppg
- Southwood – 72.23 ppg
- Cloverdale – 72.21 ppg
1A Offensive Teams:
Indianapolis Tindley is easily the best 1A team in the state and while they doesn’t mean they will win the State Championship, they sure look good on paper. They can put up points with the best of them and are way ahead of the next best 1A teams. However, Tri-County will be one of the 1A teams worth tracking. They are putting up some solid numbers and eclipsed the 20-win barrier this season. Blackhawk is the most impressive of the 1A teams because they keep losing players. They were really good when they had everyone healthy but know they are down a trio of players and still putting up big numbers.
- Indianapolis Tindley – 74.68 ppg
- Tri-County – 68.65 ppg
- Fort Wayne Blackhawk – 67.96 ppg
