- Solen at Shiloh Christian, Friday. Both are 11-1. The Skyhawks have a tougher week coming into the game than Solen does but they are at home. The shooters in the Solen line-up will cause concern for any team but Shiloh has some of those as well, plus a big size edge. This is a heavyweight game that will be very entertaining.
- Fargo North at Fargo Davies, Tuesday. Davies is the lone unbeaten in the state at Class A. They now are on top as that lone squad without a blemish. Fargo North comes in losers of three of their last five bit Siman Sem and company will be highly motivated.
- Bismarck Century at Minot, Tuesday. The Patriots have been humbled with three losses including the Mandan upset last week. Minot beat them six weeks ago in a game of the year candidate in overtime. Rematch is Tuesday.
- Thompson at Four Winds Minnewaukan. If the Tommies can get the guard play they want they could make a run. The Indians have a heavy homecourt edge so that will hurt their chances but Steven Red Fox has to be made uncomfortable for the Tommies to win. If so they have pieces that could cause some heartache. Tough task though.
- Des Lacs Burlington at Bishop Ryan, Friday. The Lions week is no joke. They have Berthold, TLMM, and then this game against the Lakers. DLB has won 9 of 10 including recent wins over Berthold and Stanley. They will catch Bishop Ryan at the right time after several tough games, but maybe that could backfire and the Lions will be red hot. A couple of good contenders here.
- GFRR at West Fargo, Thursday. The Roughriders have surprised people with how well they have played without Slaughter. Six straight wins including beating Shanley and Sheyenne, West Fargo will be the best team they’ve played since the streak began. If GFRR can win this game, that would make their Friday home game with Fargo Davies very interesting and a definite late addition on this list.
- Four Winds/Minnewaukan at Harvey/Wells, Tuesday. The Indians are 12-1 and continue to get everyone’s best shot. The Hornets hold an 8-4 record and they are the home team but they’ve dropped home games to New Rockford-Sheyenne and North Star this month.
- Bishop Ryan at Berthold, Tuesday. The Lions have two close losses this year (one score Ls to Shiloh and Our Redeemer) so they are a top ten level team. Berthold is successfully bombing having won seven of eight but they haven’t beaten a team as good as Bishop Ryan yet. Maybe this is the game.
- Stanley at Parshall, Friday. Two 9-4 teams that had high expectations this year because of the talent on the team. The year has been solid but they both hoped to be in double figure wins by now and both definitely can’t afford a loss in this game for momentum sake. Both have only lost once this month.
- Shiloh Christian at Flasher, Monday. Flasher is 9-4 and they are a young club with only two seniors on the entire roster. Hosting the second ranked team in the state should give them a chance, for a while. Skyhawks are on a roll though winning every game since the opener.
