Was one of the KC area’s top risers in the offseason as he drew a handful of Division I offers. Is at his best attacking the bucket off the bounce.
TJ Babikir, 6’0, G, North Kansas City
Not really a kid that gets a lot of hype, but he’s a nice all-around player that brings an old-school type game to the court. Can play a guard position, but can also do a lot of other things as well. Plays much bigger than his listed height.
Christian Bishop, 6’7, SF, Lee’s Summit West
He’s a force along the baseline at the high school level. Can play above the rim, rebound, block shots and throw down impressive dunks. He also has a smooth left-handed shot as well.
Damien Daniels, 5’9, PG, Hogan Prep
Lots of coaches are gushing over Daniels’ play this season. He can score it as evidenced by his 25 ppg scoring average, but its his intangibles that has everyone excited about his game. He has elite quickness and is a competitive kid, but he brings true leadership qualities to the court that are rare at the high school level.
Elijah Farr, 6’8, PF, Lee’s Summit North
He’s also a football recruit, so we’re not sure what sport his future lies, but he’s a skilled big man that can shoot it and play a face-up game.
Mario Goodrich, 6’2, PG, Lee’s Summit West
An elite athlete that is tough to contain off the bounce, Goodrich is almost impossible to keep out of the lane. He’s an improving outside shooter and his outside shot will help open up some other area’s of his game as well.
RJ Lawrence, 6’2, SG, Blue Springs
He’s a long distance gunner that can really let it fly. Has a smooth left-handed stroke that he can pull from well beyond the 3-point arc. Has the ability to attack the basket off the bounce as well.
Jordan Lathon, 6’4, PG, Grandview
Jalen Lewis, 5’10, PG, Liberty
Is a nice all-around point guard type that can lead a team and can really shoot it from long distance. Has helped Liberty get off to a strong start this season.
Xavier Rhodes, 6’2, PG, Rockhurst
He’s a long guard that can handle the ball and is at his best attacking the basket off the bounce. He is a good leader and has a good feel for scoring the ball in the paint.
