The Patterson Division featured Park Hill winning its second tournament championship this season as they knocked off Raytown in the finals.
Ronnie Bell, 6’2, G, 2018, Park Hill
Really like Bell’s game, he can shoot it, handle it, is a good defender, gets on the offensive boards and is a good teammate. He was named the MVP as Park Hill won the title, his second MVP award this season.
Isiah Burton, 6’4, G/F, 2017, Raytown
This is the best we’ve seen Burton play as he scored 18 in Friday’s championship game. He is a long, athletic wing that can handle the ball, pass and create his own shot. He’s good in transition and is a versatile defender.
Mason Fair, 6’5, PF, 2018, Raytown
There aren’t many stronger interior players in the KC area than Fair. He has nice soft hands and a soft touch in the paint. He struggled a little against the size that Park Hill had in the paint at times, but against most high school teams, he’s going to be trouble.
Franck Kamgain, 6’3, G, 2017, Center
Has to be one of the Kansas City area’s most overlooked guards. He was injured this past summer and that might have set back his recruiting a little, but he’s a big, physical guard that can handle it, shoot and defend. Has all the tools to play at the next level.
Caden Mauck, 6’6, PF, 2017, Blue Springs South
An active forward that can bang inside, or step away from the basket and knock down shots.
Camron Roustic, 5’10, PG, 2017, Blue Springs South
The more we see Roustic the more we like his game. He’s a hard nosed point guard that can carry his team offensively. Handles the ball well and finds ways to score buckets.
Caleb Swanegan, 6’5, F, 2018, Blue Springs South
An athletic forward, Swanegan is most comfortable facing the basket and playing in the high post or on the perimeter. He has a smooth jumper, can handle the ball a little and can mix it up on the boards.
Roman Wilson, 6’9, 2019, Park Hill
One of the state’s top young big man prospects, Wilson is still learning to play with consistency, but he can take over a game at times. He has a nice feel for scoring in the low post, but is probably at his best right now at the defensive end where he is a terrific shot blocker.
