The Nelson Division featured Lee’s Summit West retaining its undefeated start and cruising to a championship over Blue Springs.
Ochai Agbaji, 6’4, SG, 2018, Oak Park
Agbaji and his Northmen teammates struggled in Friday’s third-place game, but he is among the more well-rounded shooting guard prospects in the KC area. Already holds a handful of mid-major offers and that list will continue to grow as he refines his game.
Christian Bishop, 6’7, F, 2018, Lee’s Summit West
Bishop is one of the Kansas City area’s top young prospects and holds offers from several Division I programs. He is a terror on the baseline where he caught several lob passes for slams and also displays a smooth shooting stroke.
Elijah Childs, 6’8, F, 2017, Lee’s Summit West
Childs is a smooth inside-outside forward that can play with his back to the basket or facing up. He is a good rebounder, defender and displays a lot of upside as a guy that could become a 3-4 at the next level. Has signed to play at Bradley.
Steven Dulley, 6’4, G, 2017, Lincoln
Dulley continues to impress with his all-around play. He hit a big 3 late in regulation in the fifth-place game against Rockhurst. He’s a kid that can do a little bit of everything at a high level — rebound, score, defend — and brings versatility to the court.
Keion Fletcher, 6’4, G/F, 2020, Lincoln
One of the better young prospects in the KC area, Fletcher is a terrific all-around talent that can handle the ball, pass, get in the lane and make plays. He was among the top passers on the court in a contest against Rockhurst on Friday.
Mario Goodrich, 5’11, PG, 2018, Lee’s Summit West
Goodrich is among the Kansas City area’s top point guard prospects. He is a terrific athlete, able to get by his man and into the lane at will and is also a tough, hard-nosed defender. Is still honing his outside game, but can knock down the 3.
Tyree King, 6’0, SG, 2017, Blue Springs
King is among the KC area’s top 3-point threats and when he has it working, Blue Springs is a really tough team. He’s an improved all-around player and we see him finding a home at the next level.
RJ Lawrence, 5’11, G, 2018, Blue Springs
Lawrence didn’t have one of his best games in this one for Blue Springs, but he can really shoot it from 3-point range. Is good off the bounce, can create his own shot and get all the way to the bucket.
Daniel Parker Jr., 6’3, PF, 2018, Blue Springs
His college future is probably on the football field, but Parker Jr. is a really good high school basketball player. He’s strong, plays terrific position defense and has a well-rounded offensive game. Can step out and knock down outside shots as well as bang inside.
Lamel Robinson, 5’11, 2019, Park Hill South
Might be the KC area’s premier point guard prospects — Robinson can really play. Handles the ball with flair, can pass and can light it up from the perimeter. He holds several Division I offers already and that list is sure to grow.
Xavier Rhodes, 6’1, 2018, Rockhurst
Continues to impress with his ability to handle the ball, run the point and create tough chances in the paint. Rhodes is among the KC area’s best at getting to the basket and finishing.
Chris Teahan, 6’5, G, 2017, Rockhurst
We were impressed with Teahan’s all-around play on Friday. Known as an outside shooter, he took his game to the paint and had some success posting up and scoring around the basket. He has good size for a guard and will likely find a home at the next level.
