Top seeded Ladue won the MICDS Holiday Tournament while Jennings won the Pattonville Tournament in earlier December. Host Kirkwood and Duchense also check in with solid units while O’Fallon brings a little metro east flavor over from the Illinois side of the river.
Top Early Matchup: The first round game between host Kirkwood and Duchesne is the most intriguing one of the bunch. First, both teams are nicknamed the Pioneers. Duchesne is a junior-dominated unit that has good size and good continuity with three players averaging in double figures.
