12 p.m. — Ottawa (Kan.) vs. Barstow (Mo.)
This one will feature one of the KC area’s premier guards in Richmond signee Jacob Gilyard. A four-year start, Gilyard has helped lead Barstow to the Class 3 state championship game two straight years. This will be a tough test for Barstow as Ottawa is 6-1 and feature 2017 guard Isaac McCullough among others.
1:30 p.m. — Lawrence (Kan.) vs. Liberty (Mo.)
The Blue Jays were ranked No. 10 in the most recent Class 5 poll and are off to a 9-1 start this season. Liberty features several talented guards, including 5’10 2018 point guard Jalen Lewis. Lawrence is off to a 5-2 start this season.
3 p.m. — St. James Academy (Kan.) vs. Free State (Kan.)
Two of the better Kansas teams around will square off in this one. St. James is coming off an overtime loss and feature D1 signee Zach Thornhill (Omaha) and 6’9 2018 foreword Keenan Fitzmorris, who has drawn interest from a host of Division I programs.
5 p.m. — Shawnee Mission East (Kan.) vs. Raytown (Mo.)
We have seen an awful lot of Raytown this season and they have a nice team, especially in the paint where 2018s Devin Drew and Mason Fair are a handful for most high school teams to contain. Both players are big and strong and bring a football mentality to the hardwood and have helped the squad start the season 8-2 overall.
7 p.m. — Lee’s Summit West (Mo.) vs. CBC (Mo.)
Don’t be fooled by CBC’s 9-6 record — they have played a brutal schedule already this season. They feature 6’6 2018 forward Kale Catchings who is averaging 16.7 points and 5.3 rebounds, as well as 6’2 2017 guard Sam Orf, who is averaging 11.5 points. Orf has an offer from SEMO as well as Division II programs Truman State, Missouri S&T and Rockhurst.
Lee’s Summit West is among the state’s premier Class 5 teams and feature a talented front line in Bradley signee Elijah Childs and 2018 prospect Christian Bishop.
8:30 p.m. — Blue Valley Northwest (Kan.) vs. Iowa City West (Iowa)
Two of the better teams in the midwest will battle it out in the nightcap. BVNW continues to impress with their talent and depth, while Iowa City West features Iowa recruits 6’7 2019 Patrick McCaffrey and 6’6 2017 Connor McCaffrey.
