MONDAY: N/A
TUESDAY: Fishers vs. Ben Davis – 7:30 PM ET
Going into the season, both teams were looked at being solid but with some upside. Ben Davis has tapped into that upside and looks like one of the best teams in Indianapolis. Fishers has had a really tough schedule going 5-4 with losses to Pike, Carmel, and a 2OT thriller against rival Hamilton Southeastern. They are better than their schedule says as their schedule is front-loaded. Should be a solid matchup in style and size that gives Fishers a chance to knock off Ben Davis.
WEDNESDAY: Cathedral vs. Lawrence North – 7:30 PM ET
Cathedral has been a bright spot so far this year. They are 6-3 and haven’t had a bad loss yet. Lawrence North is very talented and deep but have been susceptible to playing down to their competition. Could see this being a close game but LN has the size advantage if and when they decide to flex their muscles.
THURSDAY: Madison County Tournament Semifinals – 6:00 PM ET
Thursday is a light day but the semifinals of the Madison County Tournament should be really good. You have the potential to have Lapel vs. Pendleton Heights followed by Anderson vs. Liberty Christian. Both should be really good games with tons of storylines. However, Alexandria and Frankton could spoil the party and give us a look at some talented, but younger teams.
FRIDAY: University vs. Indianapolis Tindley – 7:30 PM ET
In what was the #1 vs. #2 matchup heading into the season, it hasn’t lost much luster as both teams have been playing really well among their tough schedules. These two teams are some of the best the state has in 1A and are Sectional opponents. This is likely the first of two meetings between two of the favorites for the 1A State Title.
SATURDAY: Hamilton Southeastern vs. Warren Central – 7:30 PM ET
In one of the best matchups that seemingly is going under the radar, 10-1 HSE plays 7-0 Warren Central. Both teams have won some really tough games, legit games that show this might not be a bi-product of an easy early schedule. Warren still has to get through Lawrence North this week and HSE has Lawrence Central but you could be looking at a really great game at Warren Central on Saturday.
