Tuesday Night Fights. Usually Friday is the night to go see a game but this week Tuesday night has the spotlight with most teams competing. Here is a list of eight games to go see.
- GFF at Fargo Davies. The Roughriders grabbed a HUGE win over West Fargo and now they want it all at #1 ranked Davies. Is Davies truly a number one? Minot beat GFRR by 14 so let’s see what Davies can do against the common opponent.
- Bishop Ryan at Kenmare. We’ve been talking a lot about the Honkers and with good reason. Beating Our Redeemer was huge. Next up is Bishop Ryan in a battle of unbeatens.
- Devils Lake at Fargo Shanley. The West Fargo and Fargo Davies losses stunned the Firebirds. Devils Lake has to win this road game.
- Cavalier at St. John. Battle of unbeatens (although the Tornados have Midway/Minto on Monday).
- Bismarck Century at Bismarck. Century has much more talent but this is a rivalry so who knows what could happen.
- Killdeer at New Town. The Cowboys have won two in a row, New Town is undefeated, this game will entertain.
- Mary’s at Legacy. The Saints beat Jamestown by 26 so they come in hot against the 2-2 Sabres.
- Watford City Wolves at Dickinson. Go for the game? No. The Wolves lost to Bishop Ryan by 34 so the game will be ugly. Moody and Meidinger will have highlights though in their limited minutes (although this could be more of JV game).
Alums, See a Game! Just back from college? Go watch the old school play on Thursday and many will have a chance. Bishop Ryan is at Shiloh Christian who is continuing their tough schedule. The Grafton/St. Thomas vs Four Winds/Minnewaukan game will also draw a crowd.
Class A. The big school slate has a bit more games than Class B percentage wise on Thursday. Mandan goes for the upset at Century and Devils Lake will do the same against Minot looking for that statement win. There are six games in all to see at the Class A level Thursday.
Reschedule Monday. Tonight has a load of games on the slate many of which are make up games from a wild two weeks of weather. Number one ranked Four Winds/Minnewaukan will finally get their year started with Dunseith this evening and Dunseith is coming off a 1-2 finish in the three day holiday weekend event. Now they get to deal with the Indians.
Other Class B Noteables. Parshall was upset by Des Lacs-Burlington last Thursday so they need a win against Washburn who is playing their first game this evening…..Flasher and Strasburg/Zeeland play tonight moving on without huge stars from last year and Josh Kihle continues his monster start to the year with Surrey in a home game.
Also, in Class A Valley City vs West Fargo Sheyenne to see who belongs who in league positioning and the same can be said for Dickinson/Mandan.
