Redding has a great mid-range shot and can heat up in an instant. He can create his own looks at the basket and can finish at the basket using his length.
Redding has one offer from Louisville to walk on at their program, and has also taken a visit to Louisville. He has no visits planned as of now to other schools. Coaches that have not offered Redding have said there are numerous things they like about his game.
“They like that I have a high basketball IQ, my shooting and scoring ability as well as my ability to handle the ball.”
Redding ran with Team Legit 2017 this summer and he felt that it went well and he grew as a player as well as faced some stiff competition.
“It was good. We played in a lot of good tournaments and faced a lot of good teams and I feel like I played a good all-around game this summer.”
Redding worked on quite a few things this summer in preparation for his upcoming senior season and still has room to grow going up to the next level as he continues to work on these things.
“I work on getting quicker and stronger and continuing to work on my game doing shooting drills, ball handling and defensive drills.”
This season Redding is looking forward to enjoying his last year of high school basketball and contending for a state title. He is also ready to become a leader both on and off the court.
Looking to next year, Redding is looking for the right opportunity to play basketball at the higher level. With a strong senior season finding a place will not be hard.
