Commentary
Defending Class B State Champion Four Winds/Minnewaukan is far and away the favorite in this region. Their depth is something that other teams will not be able to match, and the end-to-end abilities of McKay and Redfox put the region out of reach. The Ramsey County Tournament on Jan 5-7 will serve as a model for the region tournament as FWM, North Star, and Dakota Prairie all compete there. Langdon Area-Munich has a solid group of young talent just hitting the varsity ranks. They will be a team to watch for in a few years.
Dark Horse
Dakota Prairie. Hunter Sand is one of the best players in the region as a junior among a loaded senior class. He will be able to carry the Knights to the region tournament, but the development of his teammates will determine how far they go.
