MONDAY: East Noble (4-1) vs. Whitko (4-3) – 7:30 PM
Not a lot of games on Monday night, and most will be either really bad or blowouts but this one gives a bit of intrigue. Both are on the brink of being solid teams this year and this is a big one before we hit the holiday tournaments. Whitko has lost only bigger schools this year and they beat Columbia City by 19, whereas East Noble lost to them by 12. Whitko will be hungry on their home floor to stop their three game losing streak, which includes six total overtimes.
TUESDAY: Carmel (5-1) vs. New Albany (3-2) – 7:30 PM
Both of these teams have been in a #1 vs. #2 match-up in the state this year, and both times they lost. This is a match-up between two top five teams in the state and it won’t fail to reach expectations. Both have lost to North Central and New Albany has also lost to national power La Lumiere. Carmel and New Albany has always been a must see game and this one is no different. One of the best games on the schedule year in and year out. Best game this week.
WEDNESDAY: Harrison (West Lafayette) (4-2) vs. Tri-West (5-0) – 7:30 PM
There are quite a few good games but Harrison and Tri-West take the crown for tonight. Both teams come in with a good record and are very strong. Last week, Harrison played McCutcheon to within two points and Tri-West handed Northview their first loss. This is a solid midweek game for both teams and will be a statement win for whoever comes out on top.
THURSDAY: Fort Wayne Snider (2-1) vs. Lawrence North (4-1) @ Marion – 6:30 PM
The talent in this one will be out of the gym good and will be one of the best games at the Marion shootout. Snider’s Malik Williams and Lawrence North’s Ra Kpedi will be a great matchup and will be sure to create excitement. Snider is coming off a huge win over Fort Wayne North and Lawrence North just beat Guerin Catholic by 19. This is will be a game which neither team wants to lose because that will put them in a hole behind the rest of a solid 4A group.
FRIDAY: Chicago Kenwood (Ill.) (8-1) vs. Ben Davis (5-1) @ Manual – 8:00 PM
This will be a tough test for Ben Davis to see if they are legit. The Manual shootout has a ton of really good games but this one may the best. Kenwood is ranked 5th in Illinois and Ben Davis is ranked 8th in Indiana. A top-ten matchup between the bordering states. This is the biggest game yet this season for Ben Davis to prove that they are a contender in 4A. This will be a game with athletes at every position and it surely won’t disappoint if you’re a fast of run-and-gun.
