Noah ran with Spiece Indy Heat 15U EYBL this past summer. He already has a year of varsity basketball under his belt and is looking to continue his quick growth this year.
Applegate is a strong, athletic forward who has the ability to score the ball from anywhere on the floor. “ I thought that I did a good job of rebounding and shooting.” He was a mismatch problem for teams this summer because of his aggressiveness in the post and on the perimeter.
Noah is looking to draw attention this year at Penn and use his passing ability to get his teammates involved in the game. Penn is looking to compete for a winning season in pursuit of a Sectional Title.
Applegate doesn’t hold any offers currently but has recently been in contact with Indiana Wesleyan University. His skill set will bode well for him in the future as he continues to develop and gain more interest.
Noah is interested in a program that will challenge him on and off the court to be his best. He wants to be a part of a competitive team that demands more out of him.
He can step away from the basket and knock down the perimeter jumper and is a good finisher around the basket with both hands. He has been hard at work on his athleticism and ball handling in preparation for his sophomore season.
If he can continue to build on his ability to score around the basket and rebound as well as improve his ball handling and off-ball defense, Applegate will be a major threat to opposing teams. He has the base skill set to be a very good basketball player.
The 2019 Class is going to shock some people this season and Noah Applegate will be at the top of that list. Keep an eye out for him and Penn this season.
