Davison ran with Spiece Indy Heat Red 16U this summer and saw his game improve on multiple levels. He began to develop other aspects of his game in preparation for his junior season.
Jeremy was presented the opportunity to return to the Spiece program this summer and took full advantage. “It felt good to get back with Spiece Indy Heat. There is a lot of competition.” Davison can score the ball with the best of them but used this summer to work on other facets of his game.
One of the best pieces that Davison possesses is his basketball IQ. “I can see possible mismatches for myself and my teammates.” This recognition ability is something that Davison has had since he was a freshman and he uses it to make his teammates better.
He understands what is considered a good possession for himself and his teammates which allows him to be a leader for his team. Davison will be one of the more experienced players for Leo this season. “Having the most varsity experience, it’s up to me to direct the guys during practices and games.” Jeremy is looking to step into a leadership role by this season and help everyone around him.
Davison has been working hard in the off-season to continually improve his game. He doesn’t currently hold any offers which is also a motivator for him.
Here is what Davison wants in a school, “finding a coach and program that accepts me and a group of teammates that are welcoming.” He has been attending Elite Camps and holding individual workouts to better himself for his junior season and get his name out there.
The focus of his workouts has been getting stronger and working on advanced moves. Increasing his strength will help him get by defenders and finish better around the basket through contact. He’s looking to make an even bigger impact for Leo this season.
Be on the watch for 2018 Jeremy Davison to turn some heads this season and lead Leo High School in multiple categories.
